Founding Ethos

Built from the ridge

Lucentrixer began with four hundred acres of neglected pasture and an unbending commitment to quiet. We constructed dwellings that honor the topography rather than dominate it, using fallen cedar and fieldstone quarried on site.

Materials and Method

Tactile foundations and quiet joinery

Every structure across the property rests on dry-stacked stone footings designed to safeguard ancient oak roots. We milled salvaged red cedar on site, coating interior timber with breathable lime wash that softens morning light into a warm, chalky glow.

Nothing inside our cabins demands your attention. We discarded wall clocks, automated notifications, and synthetic textiles in favor of raw linen, hand-forged iron hardware, and woodstoves designed to burn slow through cold mountain evenings.
